Little Caesars Bowl/Belk Bowl

Review: MISSOURI 41 North Carolina 24 √
So, that close matchup? I was off. But if I had to be off about something, I'd rather be off about the score than the winner. North Carolina got off to a hot start and made me sweat my pick of Missouri, but it didn't take long for the Tigers to pick up the pace and take the lead. With a 31-10 lead at halftime, the Tigers coasted to an easy victory. I'm short on time, so congrats to Missouri and the SEC as they embrace yet another set of Tigers.

Preview: Western Michigan v. Purdue
This game is actually the first one that is really giving me some trouble. I honestly don't know who to go with. I've gone back and forth in my head with the arguments, "Purdue is from the Big Ten. No way a
Big Ten team loses to a MAC team," but there's also the fact that Western Michigan, well they're pretty good! I haven't seen either of these teams in action, but from what I've heard and seen from the stats, the Broncos are a high scoring offense and suffered a few close losses. They've also got All-American wideout Jordan White, who is leading the nation with 127 receptions for 1,646 yards. My gut is telling me Western Michigan, so go Broncos.

Preview: Louisville v. North Carolina State
Two games in one day. Wonderful. Another set of 7-5 teams set to square off. Louisville will be looking to end the second year of coach Charlie Strong's tenure on a strong note. After starting the season 2-4, the Cardinals reeled off three straight wins and ended the season 5-1. The Cards have 10 freshmen starters and next season might be even more promising for them. NC State's biggest win of the season came against then 7th ranked Clemson in their second to the last game. The role of quarterback might've been in question after Russell Wilson transferred to Wisconsin, but Mike Glennon stepped in and finished with 2,790 yards and 28 touchdown passes. Not too shabby. I don't have a clear reason, but I'm going with the Louisville Cardinals (and I'll be wearing my Cards sweatshirt today to show my support!).
