Preview: Florida International v. Marshall
Isn't it odd that FIU has one of the best records of a Florida team this season? They went 8-4, as did Florida State, while Florida and Miami both finished 6-6. The only FIU game I saw was the Tuesday night matchup against the Troy Trojans. That might've been one of Troy's better games this season, but the Golden Panthers looked impressive. Of course their star player is T.Y. Hilton, who some see as a potential draft pick in April. On the other side of the field, I don't know all that much about Marshall. They are 6-6 and a touchdown at the end of the regular season finale is the reason they made it to be bowl eligible. The SunBelt is 1-0 so far in bowl games, with the ULL game being a nail biter. Gotta love games like that. This might be another one, but either way, I've got FIU taking this one.
