It's finally here!

Bowl season is officially underway today and I won't even be home to watch, but that's alright! There will be 32 other games I can catch.

Preview: Temple v. Wyoming
The Owls finished with an 8-4 record, same as last year when they did not receive a bowl bid. They finished second in the East division of the Mid-Atlantic Conference while, the Cowboys who are also 8-4, finished third in the Mountain West Conference behind TCU and Boise State. I have no reasoning so put simply, I've got Temple in this match-up.

Preview: Ohio v. Utah State
I can honestly say I did at least watch one Utah State game this season, the first game against Auburn, and they looked like a good team (maybe Auburn really was just that bad). They finished 7-5 while Ohio posts a 9-4 record. The last Ohio game I saw was against the Troy Trojans last year in the R&L Carriers New Orleans Bowl, and being a Troy fan, I enjoyed the game. Don't know much about their team this year but the Bobcats are back in a bowl and my Trojans aren't. So, looking at the two teams records and going with a gut feeling, I've got Ohio.

Preview: San Diego State v. Louisiana Lafayette
The Sun-Belt. I could stop there and go with my team's conference and pick ULL, but where's the fun in that? Both teams finished the season 8-4, but that's about all I know about the Aztecs. They do have a running back, Ronnie Hillman, who finished third in the FBS with 138 rushing yards per game. ULL  went 3-9 last season (sound familiar Trojan fans?) and while they are the underdog today, I've got the Ragin Cajuns winning to start the Sun Belt off at 1-0 in bowl games.
